We didn't do a big Halloween celebration this year. No costumes, no trick or treating. Bret did get a bunch of candy at the store and let the kids gorge on Halloween night. We didn't carve our pumpkin until the day after, but it was still fun. Malik chose the mouth, Jarek chose the nose and actually carved it out, I picked the eyes and Jarek created the eyebrows and Bret carved those out. We didn't have a candle so we used a flashlight to light up our pumpkin.

cute! we had more treaters than usual. lots of junior high and older kids. most without costumes. the weather was nice. most of these kids were not even from our neighborhood. but it was fun having them come. Michael Mayer's youngest sister came with friends. she is a senior in high school. crazy!
